OpAnIVA is a large clinic at Falu Hospital, the County Hospital in Dalarna. Our mission is to meet citizens' healthcare needs for traditional surgical care and specialized care such as robotic surgery, vascular and interventional surgery, and obstetrics/women's health. The clinic's two operating departments consist of Central Operation with 12 operating rooms and an associated post-operative department, as well as Day Surgery Falun with 5 operating rooms and a recovery department. The clinic is characterized by a strong team spirit and a climate of change where development is a prioritized area.

The work as an anesthesia nurse involves a combination of perioperative care and high technology. You are at the center of events as an important part of the surgical team where different professions work together for the patient's best interest. As an anesthesia nurse, you have independent responsibility for the anesthesiological care, which means that you, in close collaboration with and on the orders of the anesthesiologist, plan and perform general anesthesia, monitor during regional and local anesthesia, sedate patients during examinations and treatments, and monitor and care for patients in the postoperative course. In your work as an anesthesia nurse in central operation, you will be part of the hospital's alarm chain for acute events. Anesthesia nurses also provide advanced care during patient transports to or from another hospital where a higher level of care is required.

Central Operation Falun currently has 12 operating rooms where we perform surgeries in surgery, orthopedics, and women's health. We also provide anesthesia and sedation for patients undergoing examinations or treatments at, for example, the gastrointestinal clinic or radiology. Our anesthesia nurses also provide anesthesia in ENT surgeries where the ENT clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dental Care conduct their anesthesia-demanding activities. In our operations, you will meet patients of all ages. The work involves rotational shifts after an individually tailored introduction.

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse
• Specialist Nurse Degree in Anesthesia

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role as an anesthesia nurse, is flexible and stable with a good ability to handle stress. We value commitment and accuracy. As an anesthesia nurse, you are one step ahead and prepared for the situation around the patient to change quickly. Since we work a lot in teams, good collaboration skills with all professional categories are of great importance. We work person-centered with a focus on ensuring that the patient receives good care, a positive experience, and a warm welcome.
